The Grep Tool has been implemented with the tree widget, used in Code-Navigator. A separator is added between different files. The Grep Tool works on files in the active projects by accepting the selection in the Language Selector and the files filter.

The "Files" button shown in the screen shot shows a list of the file filters for all languages known in code-navigator. As example, the files filter for cpp.
