Main Window

Home Up

After selecting a database you enter the main window. The main gool of the design is to reduce the overhead of the functionality and unnumbered count of icons in the toolbar.

What you see on the top of the window are:

The menu

The toolbar

haveing navigation and retriever buttons

The Language Selector

This selector allows you to navigate through a specific amount of languages just on the click. So if you work on project with multilanguages, like java, cpp and php. So if you want to concentrate your self on the java language, just select the java language. The choise in the language selector is accepted in all tools of the window.

On the other hand it's possible to disable a specific language. This means that all files of the disabled languages are ignored, even though if you didn't make any choise. the disabled languages are shown grayed out.

The Language Selector shows only the languages currently availiable in your projects.

The Symbol Selector

Analog to the language selector, the symbol selector allows you to navigate in your projects on a specific amount of symbol types. So if you are interested in java source code and want only to focus on the method implementations, just check the related button. All tools of the window accept the selection of the symbol selector.

Like the language selector, it's possible to disable symbol types. As example by default Code-Navigator has disabled showing inheritances, local variables, includes and comments. The disabled symbols are shown with a red "X" over the symbol icon.

The Symbol Selector shows only the symbol types currently availiable in your projects.
